This is a cute journal for the Grumpy cat fan in your life that's artistic. Could be a child, could be an adult, it works either way. Grumpiness applies to us all.

It's more of a joke gag for things like: List The Five Grossest Foods, Draw the Ugliest Sweater, BEDHEAD is the worst: Draw What I look like in the morning, Thanks for the terrible birthday present: Here's what's inside.

It's a cute journal that prompts drawing and lists for the creative child/adult and is a good way to kill time.

Plus = Grumpy cat automatically earns brownie points just because its Grumpy cat.

I'm bumping to five stars for the type of journal, one for the creativity, one for grumpy cat, but three because there's so much of it - 60 pages of prompts.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

I am sorry, but I can't rate this higher than a 1 based on my e-copy.
I am not entirely familiar with the concept doodle journal, so I thought it would just meant doodle stories from Grumpy Cat, with maybe the opportunity to doodle by yourself as well (based on the blurb it did sound like there were a few of those scattered around). However, this whole book is a doodle-yourself-book. And sorry, but what use is it to give an e-copy to someone to review. What do you want me to review? How great it is that I can't doodle anything? How great it is that I am staring at countless mostly empty pages? I think the best would have been to not make this an e-arc. I can't draw on my tablet. I can imagine it, but sorry, 67 pages of just imaginary doodling gets a bit bland/boring/annoying (since it is annoying that you can't do shit).

So yeah, I was looking forward to this book. Doodles/stories with Grumpy Cat in the spotlight, how fun! What a delight. I am always laughing when I see Grumpy Cat being used in photographs with a catchy phrase next to it. How could I not like it. Well, apparently it isn't so hard to not like it when you can't do anything.

If I had a normal copy of this book, and was able to draw in that one, I would have rated it a 4 stars. It is a fun idea, good concept, and I do love the illustrations that are already present. Grumpy Cat looks delightfully grumpy.

I am sorry, and I am sure people will get angry that I dare rate this book a 1 star, but I just can't do anything more than just say that this is a nice idea, but it doesn't work as an e-copy.

'Grumpy Cat's All About Miserable Me: A Doodle Journal for Everything Awful' by Jimi Bonogofsky-Gronseth is an activiy cat featuring the famously grouchy cat.

It's a fun idea for an activity book. Grumpy Cat leads you through activities like making a list of grossest foods or drawing an ugly sweater or superhero costumes for Grumpy Cat and Pokey to wear (pokey is the perpetually upbeat kitten that hangs out with Grumpy Cat). You get to draw hats and musical instruments and gifts. Since grumpy cat basically hates everything, you can either draw ugly stuff or really nice stuff, it's really up to the person drawing.

At currently less than $5 on Amazon, this could be a fun activity book for a long car ride or for quiet time as an alternative to screens. As a kid, I loved this sort of thing, but we didn't have all the portable entertainment options for those long trips in the car. The book also features Grumpy Cat (and sometimes Pokey) on just about every page.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Dover Publications and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

This is a weird little book following the apparent trend of books that want you to do things. This one asks a number of questions and suggestions for drawings and other little creative things to do.

Since it's grumpy cat, many of the questions are grumpy, about stuff that you don't like. This is interspersed with nicer questions, like what your favorite magic spell is and the like. I can imagine a child really liking this collection.

However, do not expects a lot of comics or text in this book, you'll not find it.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

I love Grumpy Cat everything so when I had the chance to review this I was so excited! The only thing I didn't like is that it is a PDF not an actual book to write in and enjoy. But I loved flipping through each page looking at what you can do. This is a cute Journal you can doodle in if you like as well. Each page has a Grumpy Cat with Questions like for EXAMPLE:
Grumpy cat picture with instructions "Drawn an outfit on me. I won't like it." It is soo cute! Another EXAMPLE:
"Everything makes me Grumpy . Be grumpy with me.What makes you grumpy?"
then you list what makes you grumpy. Like I said this is the cutest journal I have reviewed to date. I am going to order two of these for my Daughters as a Christmas gift this year for sure.

I received this as an e-ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This is a cute journal. I would buy this for any Grumpy Cat fan and anyone who liked fun journals. This has different journaling/doodle prompts on each page, such as "Thanks for the TERRIBLE birthday present, what's inside?" and it shows a large empty present with Grumpy Cat sitting next to it and you are to draw what's inside the box. Another example is a picture of Grumpy Cat with the prompt "Draw an outfit on me I won't like." It goes on like that and is very cute. Definitely a fun gift for a fan of GC and/or journaling and doodling.

Grumpy Cat's All About Miserable Me is a fun activity book that contains prompts to list, draw, and write; anagrams; and puzzles that spark creativity. It is full of hilarious prompts and sketches.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

This fun interactive book is the cat's meow for summer reading and creating. If your child likes to draw, then Grumpy Cat will be the coach and "cat"alyst to make that happen. Each page presents an opportunity to draw or doodle a personal masterpiece that relates to Mr. Contankerous.

This book ignites imaginations. The cat's suggestions of what to draw will bring lots of smiles to the faces of future budding artists. One of my favourite things is the way the author adds digital images to incite the thoughts of technology. Kids take those images that were conjured up and use pens, pencils and a variety of colours to draw them in the real world on paper, not digially, using a screen on an iPad, computer or iPhone. Brilliant! The author inserts puzzles (with answers at the end of the book, thank goodness) to further get those inquisitive brains perking.

I know your child will delight in this book. It is a perfect addition to throw in when travelling in a car, bus, train or airplane. A beach can be a nice destination too to express yourself. All-in-all there is a challenge presented on every page resulting in loads of laughter as illustrations are shared.

Go ahead. Try to turn Grumpy Cat's frown into a smile as he checks out your responses to his demands. I bet you can do it....yes you can!

Grumpy Cat’s All About Miserable Me: A Doodle Journal for Everything Awful by Jimi Bonogofsky-Gronseth is an activity book for all ages. Grumpy Cat wants to know about you, and here's your chance to tell everything! Nobody cares about your complaints, except Grumpy Cat! This book gives everyone's favorite cranky feline the chance to make suggestions for revealing your pet peeves. Grumpy will encourage you to draw the ugliest sweater, make a list of the grossest foods, draw three people you sorta kinda like (love is a strong word), and gripe to your heart's content.

Grumpy Cat’s All About Miserable Me is a book that can entertain doodlers of all ages, and anyone that likes the guru,py but cute little face of this famous feline. While definitely taking advantage of the fame and a niche market, this book will make anyone that falls into the target audience happy. In fact, I ordered a copy that I intend to give to my almost ten year old son, because he loves to draw and enjoys activity books and things that let him be creative, however I expect to order a second copy for my daughter who is not a big fan of sitting still long enough to write or draw, but loves anything animal related. I think adults will enjoy the book too, but I think it will be more eagerly completed and enjoyed by children old enough to understand sarcasm.

What's better than Grumpy cat? Interacting with grumpy cat & his journal!!! This delightful interactive journal allows you,the reader to kind of be, grumpy cat.!!! How does it do that you ask? Well... It can be done once/day, or as fast as the reader wants to interact in the journal. It will ask you for "the grossest things" to be named on 1 page, & on another it will ask you to draw a picture of your favorite vacation. There are many different journal entries, asking you to do different things from naming things, or drawing pictures for others. It allows you to be grumpy cat in all his glory

I received a digital copy of this Grumpy cat journal from net galley & Dover publishers. I had some fun doing the different activities, but I'm not much of an artist. Those areas were my least favorites, but I gave them a Grumpy cat try. In return I've written an honest review

I very much enjoyed this entertaining little journal. I found the experience to be quite great. Very funny blurbs and illustrations throughout. One of my favorite features was the interactive crosswords and unscramble puzzles. Very cute! Definitely recommend this for cat lovers. My hubby is a cat lover all the way and I can't wait to share this with him!

Such a cute journaling book. If you're a fan of Grumpy Cat you'll want this. It's basically a journal for yourself filled with Grumpy Cat illustrations with suggestions of things for you to draw and write, and few puzzles for you to do. I thought the Grumpy Cat illustrations were adorable and I think it will appeal to Grumpy Cat fans young and old.

I'm not sure where this is supposed be age wise, I would say 3rd - 6th grade. I could see some adults liking it, but with its simple illustrations, lots of blank pages, and passed school note type of questions, it will only draw die hard fans. That being said, I know a guy who is going to love it.
