Ijele Masquerade dubbed the ‘biggest masquerade’ in Anambra state came out at the last Ofala festival to celebrate Late Igwe Godfrey Nwabufo Ezeude, Ezeanyanwugbujiliku and Ozodingba 1 of Uke, Idemili North, Anambra state.
It was a spectacular show as people cheered in awe as the masquerade displayed.
TVC political correspondent, Sumner Shagari Sambo who shared the photos on social media, said the masquerade is only rolled out for traditional rulers on rare occasions. Other masquerades are expected to retreat once Ijele comes out.
The late traditional ruler is a brother of Mr. Obi Ezeude, Chairman/CEO, Beloxxi Industries Limited.

So we should forfeit our tradition because we want to be like the white man.. We need to be concerned about promoting our self or we would not be able to rule the world.. You can’t be the best by copying what your neighbours do..

@Joyce Emmanuel, you dont know that white too has traditional way of worshiping? They even worship all this illuminati and other gods to gain power they only giving to us parkaged religious that make us to hate our own. Our people that believe in this tradtional things fear God than some immam and pastors. Leave people to their believe and wait till the judgement day comes. Is the world not worst today than before when tradtional worshipers are more? Only God can save us.
