A woman who was promised the “perfect smile” in time for Xmas was left bitterly disappointed with what actually turned up.

After forking out £28 for veneers, Sue Robertson was left looking more Alan Carr than Hollywood bombshell.

Thankfully, the Yorkshire woman saw the funny side of the epic fail, posting a side-splitting video of her experience on Facebook.

VENEER MISS: Sue claims the 'Perfect Smile' veneers didn't live up to expectations

Instructions on the packaging assured that she’d be able to fit the veneers in “three easy steps”.

After boiling the moulds for two minutes, she was told that pressing firmly against your teeth would provide “the perfect, custom fit”.

But to everyone’s amusement, putting the false teeth in didn’t quite go to plan.

In the short clip, Sue explains that she’s struggling to keep the veneers in her gob.

She revealed: “I can talk in them – I can say Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“But sometimes, if I don’t suck them in, they fall out.

“Apart from that, there’s no exaggeration, this is what they look like!”

Since she posted it online last Saturday, it’s racked up a one million viewers.

Another said: “Crying laughing… funniest thing I’ve seen in yonks!”

And a third joked: “Pmsl I would claim a refund… On the grounds you’ve been sent Red Rum's teeth.”
