MANCHESTER CITY have made a sensational last-gasp £65m plus player bid for Leicester star Riyad Mahrez.

City then had a £60m offer rejected for the 26-year-old, before making their 'final offer' today.
It is not known who the City player involved in the deal, sparking rumours it could be Yaya Toure or Eliaquim Mangala.
But Leicester tonight demanded £95m for Mahrez, forcing Etihad chiefs to pull out of a deal.
City are understood to have made a total of for bids for the attacker over the course of this transfer window.
Mahrez has been the subject of lots of interest over the last six-months, mainly from Arsenal and Tottenham.
But City are without Leroy Sane for a number of weeks with a long-term ankle injury.
Pep Guardiola is keen to land a replacement, and is a huge fan of the former Le Havre ace.

It is also thought Mahrez did not link up with the Leicester squad ahead of their match against Everton tonight.
