JOB PURPOSE: - to manage the Central Coffee laboratory, manage standard coffee samples and arrange periodic coffee cupping. He/she collect, label coffee samples received from branches and keep standard documents and files.
SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collect weekly and monthly progress report from coffee branches;
· Assist and facilitate required grading materials and equipment for branches and follow-up their supply;
· Assist the service, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment;
· Facilitate administrative and technical support request from all coffee branches;
· Work as panel of cupping team at Central coffee laboratory during inspection;
· Assist and facilitate coffee calibration training for branches;
· Organize standard document Work as a pool to give support for branches when needed;
· Organize inter and intra coffee branch coffee quality assessments and organize data;
· Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor;
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· BSc in Agricultural Science, Plant Science , Crop Science or related fields;
· 2 years of relevant experience in coffee cupping/coffee quality control/ inspection/ supervision/ coordination;
Required Skill
· Coffee cupping certification
· Demonstrates duty consciousness and is focused on work
· Demonstrates ability to work in a team
· Demonstrates the utmost integrity and professional ethics
