This is everything I want from a Christmas movie, swearing, adult content and small bits of Christmas spirit-ish stuff.
The story was good and I liked the idea of an alcoholic Santa robbing malls with his little midget helper, while slowly connecting with a fat loser kid.

Bad Santa may be vile, crass, and misanthropic, but thanks to Glenn Ficarra & John Requa's sharp script, Terry Zwigoff's noirish direction, and fantastic performances from a superb cast, it has a genuine wit and real edge to it as well as a surprising amount of heart that's twisted yet very much organic, and for that, it's one of my favorite Christmas films of all time.

I’m not usually fond of movies that are raunchy for the sake of being raunchy (like Porky’s or American Pie). But in that subgenre of comedy, Bad Santa probably stands at the very top. It takes all of the cliches of Christmas movies and flips them on their head, opting for a dirty crime drama with a Christmas lens.
The characters are unforgettably memorable and funny. I can never get tired of Tony Cox talking shit about Willie or the absolutely hilarious sequences with the late Bernie Mac and John Ritter (rest in peace). Bad Santa came out at the perfect time for me as a Freshman in college, but its drunken holiday debauchery humor has faded for me over the years. Hell, with its anti PC attitude I doubt this movie could be made the same way today. I still enjoyed it for the most part, but I definitely needed a shower afterward.

Bad Santa is probably the funniest Christmas movie I've seen. It completely subverts the traditional holiday themes in favor of total irreverent anarchy perfectly coupled with an elegant classical soundtrack. Billy Bob's character arc is pleasantly palpable for a comedy of this caliber as well, especially for having such a condensed runtime. I've never felt so invested in such a short fused comedy. Hopefully, I'll be making this one a new annual Christmas tradition.
