Killer dogs maul man to death, yank off victim’s manhood
Police in Kericho are investigating an incident in which a local resident was mauled to death by dogs after he strayed into a private compound.
During the brutal attack, which happened on Friday night, the vicious dogs are reported to have disemboweled and bit open the victim’s head. The dogs also yanked off the victim’s manhood.
Police said the 38-year-old man is believed to have been tipsy when he strayed into the compound and into the jaws and claws of the three mongrels.
Police added that the deceased had earlier on in the night been spotted in a local pub drinking with his friends.
DEADLY ATTACK
Kericho East Officer Commanding Police Division (OCPD) Justus Kitetu said they had launched investigations to determine whether the dogs’ owner has a permit and had vaccinated the animals against rabies.
Curiously, when the owner of the dogs was questioned he allegedly said he did not hear any commotion during the deadly attack.
He said he unleashed the dogs at 11pm and was surprised to find the bloody body in his compound at dawn.
The body of the deceased was moved to Kericho District Hospital Mortuary as police commenced investigations.
