TERM OF REFERENCE
The Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) has been planning to hold its 54th annual medical conference (AMC) and international medical exhibition from April 12- 15, 2018 at the Millennium hall. As learned from the past, among many activities resource mobilization is one of the key components of the preparation phase. So, to carryout timely and effective mobilization of resources for its most valued annual event EMA is looking for internship.
The Resource Mobilization intern is responsible for building an increasingly, diversified network of supporters, including institutional, banking, corporate, academia, donors/partners as well as other philanthropic institutions/individuals who believe in the work of EMA and provide funds, technical support and other forms of collaboration to meet the current and/or the future needs of EMA.
The post holder will also be responsible for promoting EMA, raising awareness about the EMA’s work and vision. He/she will be a strategic thinker with strong understanding of healthcare setting, pharmaceutical suppliers and manufactures and health development partners.
Scope of Work
The resource mobilization intern should work closely with the EMA’s CPD and Events department and assigned staff at EMA office so as to update and comment on the AMC activities. Specifically, the intern is required to accomplish the following:

This contract is a short term contract for four months temporary employment. The resource mobilization intern will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Ethiopian Medical Association’s HR policy guidelines.
