Missouri City Police Search For Clues In Couple’s Murder

Couple were seen on video surveillance at an convenience store, less than two hours before they were murdered

MISSOURI CITY, TX — Police are investigating the mystery surrounding the murders of a woman and her boyfriend on Monday.

The body of 29-year old Rachel Delarosa was found about 8:45 p.m. alongside a detention pond in the 4200 block of North Creekmont Drive.

She’d been shot several times.

Delarosa was last seen on video surveillance at a nearby convenience store with her boyfriend, Robert Cerda, at 7p.m. that same evening.

Police began looking for Cerda to talk about his girl friends murder, and his body was found hours later in the 7000 block of Bleker in north Houston, roughly 30 miles from where police recovered Delarosa’s body, KPRC reported..

Police said Cerda has also been shot to death.
