The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wins Game of the Year at The Game Awards

The Game Awards took place earlier today and Nintendo went away with a huge haul. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took out the top award, Game of the Year beating Super Mario Odyssey, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Breath of the Wild also won Best Game Direction and Best Action / Adventure Game. Super Mario Odyssey picked up Best Family Game, won Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Metroid: Samus Returns nabbed Best Handheld Game.
