Ranveer Singh has bid his character Sultan Alauddin Khilji goodbye and is now working on getting under the skin of a rapper for
Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’. Working towards achieving his street rapper identity is proving to be an exciting process as the star was recently spotted attending a workshop for the same. The actor, who is on his way to attaining Bollywood superstardom, headed over an interactive session with real-life rappers from the city of Mumbai.

Ranveer is believed to have visited the place with his director Zoya.
Videos and pictures from the rap session see the actor personally introducing himself to the bunch of young men and getting into the rhythm and flow of words by rapping along to a song.
Based on the lives of two Mumbai-based rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy, ‘Gully Boy’ will see Ranveer bring out the rapper in him for the first time on the big screen. The actor is known to have his way with words that he previously wrote and rapped for a commercial.
Apart from attending rap workshops with fellow Mumbai rappers, the star even took lessons from Divine himself, a video of which had made its way online last month.
‘Gully Boy’ also stars
Alia Bhatt and it is expected to go on floors in January.
