Voting, which took place across 17 categories, was open to everyone. Now it’s almost time to find out the winners for accolades like “Best Action” and “Hero of the Year.”

The award ceremony itself will take place on Saturday, February 24 and will be available to watch in two ways:

Online

Fans will be able to watch the awards remotely, exclusively on Twitch.

Twitch and Crunchyroll collaborated last summer to hold an anime marathon, but this will be the first time the organizations have teamed up to produce an event.

Since the awards will be streamed live, fans watching remotely will be able to watch the awards in real time and vote on their predictions for the winners using Twitch chat.

In Person

For fans local to Los Angeles, or who can get there on short notice, watching the Anime Awards at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood is also an option. Tickets are available now.

These fans will be able to see the Anime Award hosts, Anthony Carboni and Erika Ishii at the Bandai Namco-sponsored event.

VIPs who will be showing up to present awards include NFL player and anime fan Mike Daniels, and anime voice actors Caitlin Glass, Stephanie Sheh, and Todd Haberkorn.

Attendees may also get to rub elbows with influencers and YouTube performers from the anime fan world, including Freddie Wong, ProZD, Gigguk, Reina Scully, Mother’s Basement, Lily Pichu, Miles Luna, Glass Reflection, Super Eyepatch Wolf, RDC World 1, Victoria Holden, and Riley Rose Critchlow.

Rounding out the evening, there will be a cosplay performance from Jenni Hashimoto, who also goes by MostFlogged, and live music from Alice Underground.

Whether you're planning to watch remotely or in person, the ceremony starts at 7 PM PST on the 24th. Tune in then to learn whether your favorite show has won Anime of the Year.
