Main Purpose |
Supporting in organizing and implementing the training activities and applying related tools within the mission according to MSF's standards and procedures in order to improve peoples capabilities in effectively achieving the mission's goals
Main Duties |
• Organise and coordinate the logistics and administrative activities needed for learning activities such as distribution materials, equipment requests, transport arrangements, obtaining the material approval of other partners, etc.
• Participate in creation of any training material developed by the departments, including translating documents into local language; perform initial editing and proofreading and keeping the training materials available.
• Gather information on the learning activities (with pre-post-test evaluations, feedback from participants), and report problems, success and constraints.
• Prepare and gather documents for the selection process of participants.
• Support his/her supervisor in performing training needs assessments, determining appropriate content and target groups for training, ensuring the continued improvements and preparing a calendar of training to ensure the coverage of the training needs and maintain high standards of quality.
• Assist the Facilitator/Trainer in delivering training courses and may deliver training course himself/herself when required.
· Carry out supply management (orders, follow-up of the stock, storage conditions, inventories, consumption, etc.) in his or her department, in order to satisfy the needs of material with efficiency and effectiveness.
Specific Accountability |
- Ensure all updated and approved MSF training forms, tools and methods are in use.
- Participate in the review of training evaluation forms and suggest improvements.
- Update and make ready working formats whenever modification is needed.
- Collect and tabularize data collected from learning activities.
- Keep records of sanou trainer on projects as well as in coordination, and update the number of employees accomplished the program.
- Conduct ongoing training evaluation on the spot and provide recommendations instantly.
- Update the department on new developments on training institutions, venues, opportunities etc.
- Work on delivering learning programs in the possible cost efficient way with out compromising
quality.
- Arrange accommodation, transportation and supplies to trainers and trainees.
- Liaise with HR Co Assist and Admin Assistant on ticket and perdiem facilities.
- Provide stationary, check audiovisual equipment, coordinate refreshment service and do other arrangements on and before training programs.
- Prepare attendance certificate after checking the checklist.
- Assist and followup trainers in accomplishment report preparation.
- Research new technologies, mode of trainngs and office learning initiatives and provide suggestion.
- Assist trainers as a co-facilitator.
- Followup training institutions and venues service provision and report gaps.
- File training documents, in soft and hard copy, depend on content, date , project and other fields.
- Check field training are registered on Homere (MSF’s HRIS).
- Provide information available in his discretion to concerned bodies timely.
- Coordinate effectively with the L&D Manager on ensuring all learning activities are up to standard.
Project Support: Need to flexible to visit project location to facilitate learning and development programs in remote areas of the regions.
General |
· The responsibilities mentioned above are not exhaustive and other work can be required according to the needs of the mission.
· Mobility is requested from MSF staff, including short term assignments from their usual place of work.
· Part of any MSF-employee responsibilities is the attendance of trainings as per the requirements of the organisation.
