The December issue of Outside is hitting newsstands this week. We hope the stories within it transport you—to the Siberian tundra, Mikaela Shiffrin’s home in Colorado, and the world’s largest ice-fishing tournament in Minnesota, among other places we sent our intrepid writers. This month, we’d also like to see where you take us.
Snap a photo of your copy of Outside in the wild—whether you carry it on a ski lift, a sailboat, or a trail—then share it on social media and tag it #readingbravely (a riff on our motto to “live bravely.”)
If you post your photo between November 25 and December 10, you’ll be officially entered to win a prize pack of Outside 40th anniversary swag, including a backpack, T-shirt, trucker hat, and a Buff neck gaiter. The winner also gets a one-year subscription and will be featured on the @outsidemagazine Instagram. We’ll select the winning photo and ship out the swag before December 24.
