ABOUT THE ROLE
GOAL is looking for a highly motivated and capable professional to fill the post of CMAM Nurse for its Humanitarian Response Programme for its CMAM Project intervention to be intensively training on the current organizational systems and polices. The incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring that the MoH staff is capacitated to run the Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) programme independently in all health facilities.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced with humanitarian works with Flexible and creative approach, highly motivated and able to take the initiative and work unsupervised fosters working in teams & team work spirit, you also be engaged into the overall management of the day to day activities of GOAL Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) Field site. The incumbent will also be responsible for, among other things, ensuring that CMAM medical protocols are followed and give support to MoH staff that undertake clinical and physical examination of all children referred to the Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) programme on day to day basis.
Diploma or Bsc. degree in nursing with a minimum of 2 year of experience in related field and community outreach programmes.
Ability to effectively liaise with local government’s organizations, NGOs and donors.
Training and facilitation skill,
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of local language specially Oromiffa & Somaligna
Continually looks to improve personal skill, knowledge and work hence contribute to capacity building within the team and organization,
Very good knowledge and practice of computer application,
Willing to travel to remote areas and to camp in the field, ability to work flexibly including weekends and willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions.
Understanding of the HRP nature and willing to travel and live in field site, with frequent transfer from site to site.
Accountability & responsiveness within areas of responsibilities,
Sensitive to Gender and cross-cutting issues.

Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary: Birr 9,096.00 per month
Pension: (11% from employer and 7% from employee)
Transportation Allowance: 10% of monthly salary
Hardship Allowance: 30 - 50% of monthly salary based on place of assignment.
Medical Allowance: Birr 6500/annum (will be added in your monthly salary)
