The new band was slightly thicker than the original nato band, it was very difficult to get the watch pins inserted
Made very well I loved it and the look it gave my timepiece but unfortunately the way you route the rings created a pressure point I could no longer stand after 3 days. So I have gone back to the original leather 2 piece strap that came with my watch for comfort as I wear a watch daily. Again could just be my experience as i do wear another watch on a traditional nato strap with no issues although not daily just special occasions.
The band as always is excellent quality.
However, it will not slide between the pin and case housing where the pins insert.
More case material will need to be removed to possibly get the strap in between the pins.
I've purchased a few NATO bands and just won't go back to any other style. On my Ecozilla, it simply makes the watch so comfortable!! The green color really looks great with the watch. I've a Luminox that also works well with the NATO style band. I have the confidence that a pin won't break and my watch falls of and is gone forever or damaged.
I purchased three of these Zulu straps for summer wear. I have a 7.5 inch wrist. The 12 inch strap is long enough to fold the end back and under the two stainless rings. I wouldn't get a shorter strap unless you have a 6.5 inch wrist. Most other straps I've found from other companies were shorter.
These straps are very comfortable. Occasionally the two rings on the inside of my wrist dig into the skin but it can be adjusted so it is comfortable.
The nylon feels thick and sturdy and the brushed, stainless hardware looks nice. The rings are stitched in place tightly so they don't flop around when I wear the watches.
NATO STRAP CO. is my choice for Zulu watch straps. They are comfortable and look great on my watches and my wrist.
