The 2018
According to Vogue, the exhibition for the edition set to kick off in May 2018 is “designed to create a dialogue between fashion and the masterworks of religious art in the museum’s holdings” inspired by Catholic iconography and vestments.

Easily the grandest fashion event of the year, the 2018 edition will see an exhibition of couture inspired by the Catholic on May 7th where stars will try to outshine each other.
A mix of religious inspired pieces from designers including John Galliano, Dolce & Gabanna, Jeremy Scott, Coco Chanel and ecclesiastical pieces- never before seen outside the Vatican- on loan from the Sistine Chapel Sacristy will be on display across three Met locations; The Anna Wintour CostumeCenter, the medieval galleries at the Met and the Cloisters from May 2018.

Already expected to be controversial and dramatic, Vogue's Anna Wintour will play host with stars Rihanna, Donatella Versace and Amal Clooney supporting.
The 2018 edition is set to record mind blowing catholic couture.
