Not A Supervillain’s Lair? Then It Should be!
BALL’S PYRAMID, AUSTRALIA - PACIFIC OCEAN
Though Australian Supervillain, Dick Smith, has been circling Ball’s Pyramid for some years, it remains available for a Supervillain who likes a challenge. I am imagining the possibilities… It really would be a great location to grow that giant limpet army I’ve always wanted.

Not A Supervillain Lair? Then It Should Be #1 - Kings Island, Denmark
I like to keep an eye out for locations that seem to be so naturally imbued with just the right mix of practical suitability and formidable aesthetic grandeur that they are all-but-declaring, ’Supervillain In Residence: Disturb At Your Imminent Peril’.
When I find such a place, I’ll generally send a note to my realtor at Supervillain Living & Lifestyle to check the location’s particulars, eg; Is there a Supervillain currently in residence? If not, is it for sale? And if not, I’ll then decide if I should just go ahead and seize the property anyway by unleashing my unstoppable warbot army. Or not. Either way, I’ll set up a case file for future reference.
Case #1 - Kings Island, Denmark (Middelgrundsfortet)
Built in 1890, it’s the largest artificial island and sea fortress in the world, and still boasts the well-preserved fortifications of Fort Middelgrund. The fort’s facilities include well-equipped rooms and halls, a modern restaurant, nightclub, bar and billiard lounge, etc. The hotel section (main Minion quarters) includes 88 beds in 24 rooms. And there’s even a fully-furnished commander’s dwelling with living quarters in a beautiful maritime style.
So, really, all it needs is a few basic upgrades to be Supervillain ready. Maybe a few well positioned death ray canons, some phased-ionic sea mines, a host of giant killer limpets guarding the sea wall, and three squads of minions on permanent rotating patrols. That should keep those meddling heroic do-gooders at bay.

Prelude - Laraki Yacht Design
Yachts and Supervillainy go together like death rays and holding the world to ransom. But some yachts are more than just a means of transport from Secret Lair to ransom pick-up, they are the Supervillain’s Secret Lair!
And now, there’s a new contender, just waiting to be snapped up by a discerning Supervillain of the Sea with mayhem and maritime misdeeds on their mind, Prelude, by mastermind of Yacht Design, Abdesslam Laraki, is ready to join an esteemed list of floating lairs that includes; ‘The Flying Dutchman’, 'Sea Shadow’, 'Gertrude’, 'Disco Volante’, and 'Queen Anne’s Revenge’.
And to get a true sense of scale, here’s a picture of the 163 meter Prelude’s smaller (127m) sister-ship, Privilege, under construction.

Supervillains from Space: Nyah, Devil Girl From Mars.
Making a dramatic and commanding entrance is a key weapon in any Supervillain’s armory - and few do it with such dramatic abandon and severity as Nyah!
And what Supervillain doesn’t dream of delivering such superb monologuing as Nyah?
“You poor limited humans. To imagine you could destroy me with your old fashioned toy. What do you know of force? Force as we use it on Mars? But you shall know! You and the rest who live on this planet. I can control power beyond your wildest dreams. Come! Come, and you shall see!” - Nyah
An imposing, leather-clad female alien, armed with a ray gun and accompanied by a menacing robot, comes to Earth to collect Earth’s men as breeding stock.

“I can’t claim to have ‘designed’ this as it was Michael Kaplan’s idea to have a storm trooper made of chrome. I wasn’t sure about it until I saw Phasma and it looked great. Dave Crossman suggested the Russian army style cloak–I didn’t suggest anything just made it look cool.” – Dermot Power, Costume Concept Artist for The Force Awakens
