As much as I hate to, I think I am going to break down and order some clone tanks. Not that I dislike clones, I just don't want to wait a month to get my order from China lol.

Thinking about getting a Hurricane, Skyline and kayfun v3 clones from fasttech. And whatever else catches my eye.

So first of all, is there any particular clone company that is better than the others? From what I can tell Coppervape seems to be good quality and well liked.

And are there any tips for buying things from outside the US? I am not new to mail order by any means, but up till now pretty much everything I have ordered shipped from inside the united states. I did order an SDR USB radio dongle that came from China once, and it took almost 2 months to get it! I have never messed with Ebay either, I don't even have a paypal account. And for some reason the couple of times I tried to order from Amazon it wouldn't except my debit card.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated, thanks.

So, yes, coppervape is well regarded I think skyline is as well. Fasttech actually has a message board and if you check there for the clones you are looking for it can be pretty informative, and a good resource.

I'd pay the extra 0.17 cents or whatever it is to increase shipping speed, I don't know where you are in the country but I'd be surprised if you had to wait more than a month, unless an item is backordered or whatnot...

Good luck, nothing too special about ordering other than FT will do a pretty decent job honoring a warranty if there is a real issue, unlike some of the other Chinese vendors and I do most of my overseas ordering from FT, though I like 3FVape as well.

You shouldn't have any issues with customs or anything, I certainly never have....

Good luck!

I live in Michigan. I don't have a problem with paying extra for faster shipping. I would pay 30 bucks for express shipping if I was sure it would actually be faster lol.

I have not gone beyond a cursory look at the website to be honest. Just seeing what they had available ( a LOT as it ends up). I haven't actually tried to make an order yet to see what the shipping options were or anything like that.

There is such a thing as reasonably fast shipping from china. It goes by air and costs a ton though. Takes all the fun out of the low prices.

Order from just about anyone in the continental US though and you’ll get your stuff in a couple days with USPS. I personally consider them more reliable than UPS or FedEx, as does FedEx, since they use USPS for their last mile stuff anyway.

Use dropdown for E-cig, little quicker for searching. They use the term styled instead of clone. Clone works, but I get more options if I use styled. Always read the discussions. FT forums are fantastic for clone info. I choose e-packet for shipping, less than a dollar. Out of stock or preorders area pita with them, usually have to open a ticket. I like FT for anything I can wait 3 weeks for.

Word of advice once you get stocked up.

Order in advance if using China. I've had orders take forever and others here well before I expect. Look at the estimated ship time in the description. Some things take longer than others, and go epacket. I've paid a little more only to have it arrive about the same time.

I just keep a cart going, and place an order when I get about 3/4 in need.

Quite a few US vendors sell clones made by Tobecco and EHPro. I haven't tried any of the Tobecco ones, but the KFL+ and KFL+ V2 clone tanks by EHPro have been terrific, IMO.

HeavenGifts and HealthCabin (both in China) have some really amazing sales and deals, but...their shipping seems really high, until you figure out what it works out to per item. My last 3 orders have averaged out to about $2-3 per item for shipping. But...when some items (including some mods + kits) have been $2-5 and some tanks/RBA/RDA were just $1-4 each...adding $2-3 to that cost, for shipping it, isn't bad at all. Plus, shipping from both of those places has been really fast - 1 order came in just 5 days, and the other 2 only took 7 days...from the time I placed my order to the packages arriving at my door! All 3 were sent with shipping via HK DHL Express.

Using E-packet I get in stock orders in 10-12 days, depending how fast customs and state side USPS is.
Check out as a Pay Pal guest, or just get a PayPal account.
When the tracking says "origin post is preparing shipment", it means it's on the boat, and will be in US customs in 8 days.

Well I went ahead and made an order from fasttech. Ordered 3 clones, kayfun prime, Hurricane and a skyline. Also got some other stuff like drip tips and the insert kit for the skyline. The whole order including shipping was probably half what an original kayfun would have cost me.

I used the e packet option and at the end it said 10-12 days shipping, not sure if that is from there to my door, or there to the US, or from US customs to my door, or maybe when they will actually leave the wherehouse? Guess I will see when it actually gets here. When I look at the shipping on my account every product has a different shipping date from the 16th to the 22nd. Does this mean they will all ship at different times, or will they hold the order until the last item is ready to ship? I would prefer to get them all at the same time.

As for the question regarding the 8-10 days...yes. :)

I've had them hold orders until all are ready to ship, and I've had them break one order, shipping all but one item.

I can't tell you for sure. Maybe someone else can let you know.

They will hold the order until the 22nd. You can ask them to split the order if something is OOS after 7 days.

If everything was in stock they usually ship together. If not they will wait a few days and if not in stock items don't show up they will ship separately. There will be no charge for separate shipping. You will get an email notification either way.

I've never had to ask or been asked, they just ship what they have.
Hmmm...they my not like me, I've had to ask :(
This is what it says on my order placed 11/4
"This order may be split shipped if parts of it aren't ready on around 11/11/2017
If you need everything to be shipped together in one package, please open a request."

Might be because if I get a ship date and they don't ship I wait 3 days and open a ticket. Helps to remind them you are paying attention.
