WWE Raw viewers down this week

WWE.com

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was full of news, with the likes of Bo Dallas, Nia Jax, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman all returning from various injuries and ailments, Stephanie McMahon showing up to push General Manager Kurt Angle back into action with his job on the line, and even Daniel Bryan making a guest appearance (before doing a stretcher job). A LOT happened.

It was also the first chance the red brand would have to follow up on the big SmackDown invasion angle from last week.

It didn’t do so hot in the ratings.

Indeed, this week’s show drew 2.85 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.95 million. That episode had the benefit of coming after the TLC pay-per-view but WWE hoped to bring viewers back with the invasion.

The hourly breakdown looks similar to last week, just with less viewers throughout the program:

Hour one: 3.10 million
Hour two: 2.94 million
Hour three: 2.51 million

They faced competition from the likes of Monday Night Football (over 10 million viewers) and their own Nikki Bella over on Dancing with the Stars (just under 10 million), of course, and this looks like what we should expect for the rest of the year.
