Arsenal's dramatic 1989 title win at Anfield immortalised as comic strip

Artist Steve Gulbis captured the magic of Michael Thomas' winner as a comic book. All the thrills and spills of Arsenal's nerve-jangling 1988-89 First Division title victory have been captured in a new documentary movie called "89." Going into the last game of the campaign, the Gunners travelled to Anfield to take on Liverpool in a titanic clash, knowing that a 2-0 win would see them crowned league champions. Having gone a goal ahead shortly after half-time, it took until the 91st minute for Arsenal to seal the deal when Michael Thomas prodded a shot past Bruce Grobbelaar to clinch the silverware with the final kick of the season.
