Toboe and 4.27 seem to be different people? Can you tell us more about the relationship between these two?
4.26 is another survivor object of the Dingir project. He and Toboe (I remind you that Toboe’s number is 4.27) are actually clones. Being under adjacent numbers, they received a similar complex of medications and training. They lived in neighboring cells, so they had the opportunity to talk through the wall. They became very attached to each other. 4.26 literally was the only meaning in Toboe’s life. As an adult, 26th was released from the Tower and assigned the task of finding and returning Toboe to complete the Project. So yeah, later they become enemies, though they still are deeply connected to each other.

Canonically Toboe(23) is male, cis, asexual (though I have an au where Toboe is agender and pansexual)
The setting is partly inspired by ancient - mostly Sumerian - mythology, but very alternative… like futurism / fantasy / apocalypse.
As you may know, the legend of the Tower of Babel tells how people built a tower so high that it reached the heavens in order to get closer to the gods. In my story, the Tower is a giant research center and laboratory where scientists, by the orders of a deeply religious government, are trying to recreate a long-dead god. The "Dingir" project (a cuneiform sign, usually a determinative with the meaning "deity"). Hundreds of artificially created children live in the Tower, and Toboe (originally called Object 4.27) is one of them. He is the only successful sample of the project, as well as the only one who was able to escape from the Tower. Later, the story revolves around Toboe growing up, studying the world and the people around him. Despite the fact that he spent first 10 years of his life in isolation in a Tower and is very afraid of people, as a child, Toboe is very curious and happy to learn new things. At first, the world scares him, but he is fascinated by the surrounding beauty and diversity. I wouldn't call him very smart, but he has a "lively mind" and he is very emotional and sensitive to everything that happens around him. At the age of 19, he is at the epicenter of a resistance movement against the government and, in particular, the Dingir project.
As for Sui, he is currently in the remake and redesign, so I took him out of the plot for now.
