We're sure plenty a Wales football fan was in denial over Wales' exit from the Euros after their defeat to Portugal.

But this little boy took football heartbreak to a whole new level when he completely refused to accept that Chris Coleman 's men had been knocked out of the Euros, despite it being explained to him that it was just France and Portugal in the coveted final on Sunday.

The one-minute clip, which appears to be filmed before Portugal were crowned Euro 2016 champions in Paris on Sunday, shows the toddler crying, wailing and having a mini-meltdown ahead of the tournament finale.

When asked who out of France or Portugal he wanted to win in the Euro 2016 final, he still insisted he wanted Wales to win.

Two women can be heard trying to explain to the little lad how the competition worked, but he was having absolutely none of it.

One did her best to rationalise with the little boy - whose tears can be seen running down his cheeks as he listens - saying: "It's a competition, sweetheart.

"Whoever loses the football match gets knocked out of the competition, and Wales lost against Portugal."

But her reasoning seems to fall on deaf ears, and the little boy can be heard crying over and over, adding: "I want Wales to win".

We all felt the same way, really!
