Ten-year-old Sophie is in for the adventure of a lifetime when she meets the Big Friendly Giant (Mark Rylance). This was one of my favorite books that I read with my children, who are now in their thirties. I didn't watch the movie when it first came out because it was so badly reviewed. I just watched it tonight and I LOVED it.
