Ex-Presidents Erap, FVR arrive at Malacañang for Duterte’s inauguration

Former Presidents Joseph “Erap” Estrada and Fidel Ramos have arrived at the Malacañan Palace to attend the inauguration of President-elect Rodrigo Duterte Thursday morning.

Estrada, now Manila mayor, arrived at 9:20 a.m. while Ramos arrived 9:45 a.m. They were among the estimated 500 guests invited to the oath-taking ceremony.

Duterte is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 a.m., more than an hour before he formally assumes office as the Philippines' 16th President.

The oath of office will be administered by Supreme Court Associate Justice Bienvenido Reyes at the Rizal Hall. —ALG, GMA News
