Even as she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night, Margot Robbie was already preparing for her 26th birthday this weekend. She told Jimmy Kimmel she plans on celebrating with a Hawaiian luau, “because why the hell not?” But that’s nothing compared to Robbie’s 24th birthday celebration, which she said she had been planning since she was 16.

“I had a 24-hour party for my 24th birthday,” Robbie said. “It’s what I imagine it’s like to do a marathon.”

According to Robbie, the party started at 9 a.m. with a “nice” champagne breakfast before she went to Hyde Park for games. “So everyone could keep going,” there were costume changes ranging from Western to “Under the Sea” themes throughout her birthday.

True to Robbie’s plan, the party lasted all the way until 9 a.m. the next day. “We ended up at progressively filthier and filthier bars, until at 9 a.m. we full-circle ended up back in our courtyard and popped another bottle of champagne,” Robbie said.

“That sounds really fun, and also exhausting at the same time,” Kimmel said.

Needless to say, Robbie considers her comrades from that party “my closest friends in the world.”
