About a Boy alum David Walton has been tapped for a major recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of Showtime‘s drama series Masters of Sex.
Season 4 of Masters of Sex, starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, kicks off in 1968 and will chronicle the “swinging ‘70s.”
Walton will play Abe Perlman – Masters and Johnson’s high-powered attorney in a case that pits science against the State. A man who’s represented the Black Panthers and Weathermen, Perlman loves a good legal battle, but loves a highly publicized one even more. Charming and handsome, he’d be considered cocky if he didn’t have the brilliant legal mind to back up his formidable reputation.
Season 4 of Masters of Sex premieres on September 11.
Walton, who has been recurring on the Fox comedy series New Girl, will next be seen in the STX feature Bad Moms opposite Mila Kunis. It opens July 29. He is repped by Gersh and MGMT Entertainment.
