For a new season of mountain biking and traveling to prime trail riding locales, EVOC is giving a new look to some of their mainstay travel bags. First, in a partnership with trials master Danny MacAskill who is always on the road, heading from event to event, they’ve developed a special Signature series of bags for him. The MacAskill bags get a simplified look with a Scottish-inspired heather main fabric and vibrant orange detailing. Then in an ongoing Multicolor series, this season EVOC goes with a more subtle blue, light blue, and yellow look that is available across their lineup. Check out the full range of special edition travel bags available now after the break, plus pricing and some specs on each…
Wherever MacAskill goes, he brings his bike with him to scope out and ride the next unbelievable line for his next feature. We spoke with MacAskill back in May and had a go through his one of his Signature Series packs as part of our Every Day Carry series. The heart of the MacAskill Signature line is of course EVOC’s mainstay 420€, 280l Bike Travel Bag. Since the bike is what keeps the sponsorship bucks rolling in, MacAskill is pretty particular about how his bike travels. To be fair his bikes can probably take some abuse being chucked off of some crazy lines, but no need for that to happen in transit. The 136 x 39 x 80 cm EVOC bike bag is pretty much the standard for hauling mountain bikes, and turns up at a lot of the mountain events we cover from both the pro and amateur side of things. We’ve tested them back as far as 2011, and can safely say that they still offer a reliable way to travel with your trail bike in a soft case.
