According to the action-packed final Legend of Tarzan trailer, gorilla family reunions involve a lot fewer hugs and a lot more fighting.

Alexander Skarsgård stars as the vine-swinging wild man, who, after being raised by a family of apes, has since returned to his native London and assumed the aristocratic title of Lord Greystoke. But when a colonialist conspiracy threatens his new life and his old home, he journeys back to Africa, where he faces off against foes both man and ape alike.

Margot Robbie also stars as the Jane to Skarsgård’s Tarzan, with Christoph Waltz playing the villainous Belgian captain Leon Rom and Samuel L. Jackson playing the real-life Civil War veteran George Washington Williams.

Skarsgård recently spoke to EW about his intense Tarzan training regimen, recounting his months of workouts and strict diet to get him in gorilla-fighting shape. “I remember the day that he was allowed an apple, and he kissed the apple,” Robbie told EW. “It hit me how deprived you are if you’re that excited to see a piece of fruit.”
