Leni suportado ng Bar topnotcher at historian
MANILA, Philippines - Pinangunahan ng Bar topnotcher na si Rachel Miranda at kilalang historian na si Ambeth Ocampo ang mga bagong grupo ng personalidad na nagpahayag ng suporta kay Liberal Party (LP) vice presidential candidate Leni Robredo.
“I stand behind a Vice-President committed to the protection and promotion of the rights of every Filipino, and whose passion for public service is matched by a track record of tireless advocacy. I stand behind Leni Robredo,” wika ni Miranda.
Isang graduate ng University of the Philippines, nakakuha si Miranda ng 87.4 percent para pangunahan ang 1,731 nakapasa sa Bar. Sa kanyang parte, iginiit ni Ocampo, dating chairman of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), na hindi hayaan ng mga Pilipino na maulit muli ang kasaysayan sa pamamagitan ng pagtiyak ng panalo ni Robredo.
“Don’t repeat history, vote LENI for VP,” wika ni Ocampo. Sumama na rin ang bokalista at gitarista ng bandang “Sugarfree” na si Ebe Dancel sa Leni bandwagon. Nagdeklara rin ng suporta kay Robredo si Lualhati Bautista, may akda ng mga nobelang tulad ng “Dekada ‘70”, “Bata, Bata, Pa’no Ka Ginawa?”, at “Gapo”.
