Beyond the Gates exclusive tease: A VCR board game holds the key in horror film

In the new horror film Beyond the Gates, a pair of estranged brothers reunite to liquidate their alcoholic father’s video store several months after his disappearance. Soon after, they unearth an old VCR board game that acts as an inter-dimensional hub to a nightmare world where their father’s soul is trapped and can only be saved by playing the game.

Directed by first-time filmmaker Jackson Stewart, the film’s cast is packed with genre favorites and includes Graham Skipper (Almost Human,), Chase Williamson (John Dies at the End), Brea Grant (Rob Zombie’s Halloween II), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator, We Are Still Here), Matt Mercer (the Contracted movies), Jesse Merlin (FDR: American Badass!), Sara Malakul Lane (the upcoming Sun Choke), and Henry LeBlanc as the missing patriarch.
