Broadway actor and star of The Good Wife Alan Cumming is selling his charming New York apartment.
The full-floor apartment, which he shares with husband, artist Grant Shaffer, is in the trendy East Village overlooking Tompkins Square Park.
Cumming and Shaffer bought it in 2005 for $US1.7 million and have listed the apartment for $US2.2 million, as reported by Sky News Real Estate’s Prue Miller.
Boasting four bedrooms, one bathroom and lots of natural light, the pre-war property features a formal entry foyer, expansive living and dining areas and a chef's kitchen.
According to realtor.com the couple is moving around the corner to a newly-renovated townhouse, which they bought in 2013 for $US4.65 million.
Cumming has made a name for himself playing Eli Gold on the recently-wrapped The Good Wife and he also won a Tony in 1998 for playing the Emcee in the Broadway production of Cabaret.
The property is listed with Noble Black and Jennifer Kaufman Stillman of Douglas Elliman.
