Low-profile northern beaches resident Rove McManus and his wife Tasma Walton have sold their luxury, family home in Avalon Beach.
The couple, who have a two-year-old daughter, Ruby, have lived at the sprawling property adjoining Bangalley Head in New South Wales for about five years.
They decided to sell the Moroccan-inspired home in favour of a rumoured move to the eastern suburbs to be closer to Rove’s daily radio gig.
James Baker, of Raine and Horne Palm Beach, confirms the house has been sold, but is unable to reveal the sale price or identity of the buyer.
It is believed the property sold for close to $3 million, and the buyer is an out-of-area businessman who plans to use it as a holiday home.

He believes it’s a reluctant sale for McManus and his family, who loved their time at Avalon Beach.
“They love the beaches,” he says.
“I wouldn’t be surprised to see them back up here again (one day).”
