New COO for Hudson Valley Hospital

Stacey Petrower will oversee operations at the Cortlandt hospital and its satellite locations in Croton-on-Hudson and Cold Spring.

Stacey Petrower, a senior leader in health care operations for more than 20 years, has joined NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital as Chief Operating Officer.

In this new role, Petrower will be responsible for the overall operations at the Cortlandt Manor campus as well as its satellite locations in Croton and Cold Spring.

“Stacey brings a wealth of expertise and talents to the role of COO and is the right leader to further our collective mission to provide the very best healthcare to our patients and their families,” said John C. Federspiel, President, in a prepared statement. NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital became a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Regional Hospital Network in January 2014. “We are very excited to welcome her to the NYP/HVH family.”

Petrower joins NYP/Hudson Valley Hospital from NYP/Weill Cornell, where she was Vice President, Operations. She began her career in health care operations more than 20 years ago and joined NewYork-Presbyterian in 2003, in leadership roles, first in Corporate Services and then in Operations at both NYP/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and NYP/Weill Cornell both located in New York City. She has extensive experience in collaborating with physicians, nurses and staff to enhance nationally recognized clinical service lines and driving improvements in patient experience and employee engagement.

Petrower, a resident of Peekskill, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law & Society from Binghamton University and a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Pace University.
