Position Overview

The Marketing Associate- RFP Writer is a key member of the Strategic Marketing team at Cambridge Associates and contributes directly to the growth of the firm. This position requires significant proposal writing, interpersonal, and project management skills to interface with investment staff and senior management of the firm, as well as with prospective clients. The Strategic Marketing team is a collaborative group whose work is fast paced and dynamic. This role allows for an immediate impact and long-term growth potential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Vet, create, produce, and submit Request for Proposals (RFPs) received by the team. This might include speaking with prospective clients to determine their needs and potential fit for CA
  • Work with Investment Directors and departments across the firm to craft custom answers for investment content and non-standard answers
  • Help keep RFP database current, and proactively identify changes to language and positioning that will create compelling answers
  • Document and upload all activities into marketing tracking system to ensure accurate pipeline analytics
  • Take on longer term strategic marketing projects of personal interest to advance the Global Business Development team’s effectiveness


Qualifications
  • BA/BS required
  • 1-3 years prior marketing and industry experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (writing sample required)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Interest and basic understanding of financial services
  • Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship or restriction in the US
