In 30 days, we got 27 meetings for a B2B tech company (~ 60 people) in 3 APAC markers (5 steps we followed) 👇 Before October 2023, My client top 5 challenges: 1- Rely on inbound leads 2- ~55% of their inbounds were not ICP. 3- They were sending 20+ cold emails/week 4- 3 farmer sales team 5- Couldn’t get their ICP data (90k+ SMEs in APAC) Here’s the 5 steps we followed to generate 1 lead/day: Step 1: What sales strategy to implement? Success in outbound = planning 7 key information to formulate a sales strategy: 1- The Revenue target 2- Annual Contract Value 3- The average number of contacts/account 4- The average activities/account 5- Average show rate 6- Average qualified rate 7- Average close rate Those 7 answers tell us the number of accounts/people we need to reach the targeted revenue - - Step 2: Square their ICP Knowing our client’s Ideal Customer Profile (I.C.P.) / Buyer Persona is the top 2 info of our onboarding 6 criteria to define an ICP/Persona: 1- Demographic info 2- Challenges 3- Goals 4- Buying behaviour 5- Communication preferences 6- Value prop alignment - - Step 3: Focus on Sales-intents: Our client solution replaces 1 specific tech position in SMEs 1 way to know that a SME could potentially need that solution is by tracking what SMEs are hiring for this position. By scrapping job boards, analyzing and summarising the job descriptions of the profiles we know exactly the needs of those SMEs We can then reach out to the right person with the right message at the right time - - Step 4: Calibrate their ICP/Persona 1- Gauge the number of accounts/contacts to target 2- Estimate the available data per account/contacts As step 1 tells us how many accounts/people we need to reach the targeted revenue, We evaluate if the number of accounts/people found versus the ones needed are matching. - - Step 5: Write intent-driven cold email sequences 7 steps-blueprint to send terrific cold emails in 2024: 1. 1-3 word subject line 2. 5th grade language 3. 1st line: an observation 4. What’s in it for the prospect 5. 50-75 words 6. Generates emotions 7. Soft Call-to-Action Send the cold emails you would like to receive. YouTube Video Action Campaigns getting merged with Demand Gen in 2025 feels too soon. We usually focus on CPV and CPM for YouTube ads but I image this is just the start of what Google plans to do with YouTube Ads. The biggest lever Google has is making everyone run YouTube ads. Maybe the future will be Demand Gen and PMax side by side fighting it out. I always thought it would just be PMax standing alone in the end. https://lnkd.in/eSHSHtHB

Method and application will get you to where you need to be. 🔍 Five ways to get to know your ideal customer: 1. 🤖𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻-𝗱𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀: Speak directly with your current customers and prospects. Ask open-ended questions about their challenges, goals, and preferences. These conversations can reveal valuable insights that you might not get from quantitative data alone.     2. 🧘‍♂️𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮: Utilise your CRM and analytics tools to study your customers’ behaviour patterns. Look at purchase history, website interactions, and engagement metrics to understand what content resonates and what drives conversions.     3. 📋𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆: Develop detailed surveys targeting your audience. Include questions about their needs, preferences, and pain points. Incentivise responses to increase participation rates and gather a broader range of insights.     4. 👥𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮: Monitor and participate in conversations on social media platforms where your audience is active. Join industry groups, follow relevant hashtags, and engage with their posts to understand their perspectives and interests.     5. 💓𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁: Perhaps a little unconventional but it works a treat.  Ask yourself: who do you do you best work with? Who do you love working with? Who values what you do and who pays you on time?  Where the stars align on these questions, this is where the magic happens! 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆! Amalgamate the information from interviews, surveys, and data analysis to create detailed buyer personas. Of course these target buyer personas should include demographic information, professional roles, challenges, motivations, and goals BUT importantly 𝙥𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙨 what drives them, what frightens them, and what goals they aspire to achieve - is what will give your content extra resonance. Success lies in the nuances, not sweeping generalisations. Dive deep into their world to uncover the subtleties that make them tick.  Create personas who feel like real people. Use these personas to develop your messaging and guide your content creation and marketing strategies. If you recognise your values in my writing - you are my ideal customer. Let’s dance! 🤗🕺💃

Plus, niche blogs tend to perform better in search engine rankings, solidifying their credibility. However, the downside is that narrowing your focus may alienate potential readers who are interested in a broader scope. Additionally, it can be challenging to consistently generate diverse content within that niche. On the flip side, a more generalized approach allows for versatility and the potential to cover various topics. This can foster a wider reach and appeal to different audience segments. The downside? It can dilute your authority on any single topic and make it harder to attract advertisers looking for a specific demographic. Consider a balanced approach by starting with a primary niche while allowing flexibility for related topics. This middle-ground strategy leverages the strengths of both methods—targeting while still appealing to broader interests. To apply this, create a core content calendar centered around your niche and sprinkle in bonus content that aligns with your audience's diverse interests. Google recently had a data leak that shows how their search algorithm works.  Of course the SEO industry got a hold of the data and lost their collective minds. 🤯 [Watch the video for my full commentary] 📽 This leak was the evidence that we SEO professionals needed to prove that Google has been gaslighting us for years. Much respect to Rand Fishkin for getting a hold of the data and for being right about a lot of what Google has been saying is wrong about how we think the algorithm works. For years, he has been fighting many fights against the grain. Tens of thousands of people have benefited from his efforts and teaching from those fights. Props to Michael King king for his brilliant break down of the data. Now, here is how brands can use what we learned from the data to improve your SEO performance. 1. Unique Content The best way to create unique content is to use proprietary data and audience tools like SparkToro and Dstillery to create content that solves a problem, entertains or educates your audience. 2.Domain Authority & Brand Building This is real so build those links from quality websites. Your PR team is your best resources for link building. Partner with them to build your brand and website’s authority. Building a strong brand will help you win in SEO and all other channels. 3.Website Engagement: Clicks, Bounce rates etc A Google leak shouldn’t have to tell you that website engagement is important for you to prioritize it. If people walked in to your house and then ran out right away because it stinks, then you would probably optimize your house so it smelled good. That’s how people feel about your website when your bounce rate is high and they don’t convert. It stinks! 🤣 Plus, conversions is my favorite engagement metric. Most brands use Google Analytics so Google knows if people convert and will reward that with rankings. I love conversions because diapers are expensive. 4.YMYL Your Money & Your Life is important from an authority standpoint. Get experts to write or review and co-sign your content. We helped BetterVet do this by having their vets review all articles. They have continued to grow on Google regardless of the algorithm update chaos. 5.Fresh Content Google wants fresh content. Publish, quality content often. Quality is better than quantity. A new attribution setting? Meta made some big announcements related to optimization improvements, and Incremental Conversions was one of them. Here's a link to the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/gqeZwqRT Incremental Conversions are those that Meta believes would not have happened without seeing your ad. Meta says that when this was tested, advertisers saw an average improvement of more than 20% in Incremental Conversions. This could help cut out the fluff, though it’s not clear how it would be much different or better than optimizing for click attribution. But, I'm very likely missing some details that will make more sense later. I’m also confused by how Meta calls this an attribution setting, but they explain how this is in contrast to optimizing for volume. So, is this a new attribution setting to go along with click and view attribution? Or is it a performance goal option in addition to maximize number or value of conversions? It was a short description, so I won't hold it against Meta that I'm confused. I'm easily confused, especially without access to a new feature -- or at least some screenshots. I'm not too worried about it. We’ll see soon enough. Meta says that Incremental Conversions will start rolling out in the second half of the year.
