The singer’s one-hour NBC special, Adele Live in New York City, had 11.2 million viewers and a super strong 3.0 rating among adults 18–49 on Monday night. The 40 Best Albums of 2015 Benefiting from a lead-in from The Voice, the 10 p.m. special — which you can see in full here — delivered a larger adult demo rating than any broadcast network concert special since NBC’s Eagles Farewell Tour on June 1, 2005. If anything, holiday concert specials often struggle in the ratings, regardless of their lead-in.
