iPhone: Taking notes when you’re reading a book is a great way to help cement thoughts in your memory and explore different theories about what you’re reading. While you can do this in any notes app out there, Shelf is dedicated to books and has some features that make it useful for just that.
What makes Shelf nice is the book search engine built into it. Search for a book title, and you’ll get a nice big image for it. When you add it to your collection, you can then add as many notes about that book as you want. It’s a super simply little thing, but if you read a lot and want a dedicated notes app for writing down your thoughts, Shelf is worth a look.
