Masters of Sex alum Teddy Sears is set to co-star opposite Corey Hawkins, Miranda Otto and Anna Diop in Fox pilot 24: Legacy, which reboots the 24 franchise with brand new characters and cast.
Written by 24 veterans Manny Coto and Evan Katz and directed by Stephen Hopkins (who helmed the original 24 pilot), 24: Legacy chronicles military hero Eric Carter’s (Hawkins) return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back – compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
Sears will play Keith Mullins, Rebecca’s (Otto) former second in command, ambitious and driven, who has replaced Rebecca as the head of CTU.
24: Legacy is executive produced by Howard Gordon, Coto, Katz and Brian Grazer through 20th Century Fox TV, Imagine TV and Gordon’s Teakwood Lane Productions.
Sears, who is recurring on The Flash, will be seen in Barry Sonnenfeld’s feature Nine Lives. He is repped by APA and Ramos Management.
