Damon Feldman, the promoter behind the George Zimmerman vs. DMX boxing match, has decided to pull the plug on the event, TMZ reports. "Done with George Zimmerman," he wrote, "if you had a major payday sitting in front of you, I know no one else would walk away like I did."
Update: A representative for DMX shared this statement: "As previously stated, DMX never agreed to the fight and we thank you for all of the support from DMX's fans. This situation will not affect any of DMX's upcoming concerts in America or around the world."
TMZ reports that Feldman also said that there's "more to life than money". The two men were due to box on March 1, which is when DMX was promising to "gladly beat the shit out of [Zimmerman]" and piss on his face.
