Star Wars Battlefront launches on Xbox One through EA Access on November 12, a full five days before the game's official release date. Now, EA has confirmed that gameplay will be capped at 10 hours. That's the typical gameplay duration for EA Access games, including the most recent release, Need for Speed.

"You can play Star Wars Battlefront for a total of 10 hours," EA said on Twitter. "That includes any single-player missions or multiplayer battles."

EA Access memberships are available for $5/month or $30/year. In addition to early play for upcoming games, members have access to a continually growing library of free games and can save 10 percent on all EA digital content. There is no word yet if EA Access will come to PlayStation 4.

Battlefront officially launches on November 17 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

In part due to the positive response to Battlefront's multiplayer beta, EA recently raised its shipment projections for the game from 9-10 million to 13 million. The company has also released a new trailer for the game's Force Awakens-inspired Battle of Jakku DLC.
