Savannah Smiles Muddy Buddies

Savannah Smiles Muddy Buddies by Heaven in a Dish -a lemon white chocolate muddy buddy mix with chunks of Savannah Smile girl scout cookies!
I love girl scout cookies.

ANY girl scout cookie.

Now, Samoas are my favorite, but I think they are all good. Thin Mints and Samoas are the most popular, but you know, THERE ARE OTHERS OUT THERE.

Savannah Smiles are one of these "others". They're crispy lemon cookies dusted in powdered sugar. I'm not a big citrus fan (unless you have cuties, I'll do anything for one of those little mandarins!), but I actually really like these.

When I got some, I automatically ate almost the whole box, but saved a few with this in mind.

Okay, so these muddy buddies were seriously amazing. The first batch I made turned out awful because the lemon juice had a weird chemical reaction with the white chocolate. But with a few tweaks, they turned out great.

Chex mix slathered in a lemon white chocolate mixture, doused with powdered sugar and sprinkled with Savannah Smiles GS cookies, these muddy buddies are just plain awesome.

Now, if you can't find Savannah Smile cookies, don't worry, you can use some kind of shortbread cookie covered in powdered sugar. It won't taste as lemony, but either way, these muddy buddies are delicious.

My family really liked these, and so did I.

Super easy with delicious results, this is my kind of treat! The lemon flavor was just right, not too tart, just the right zing, and it paired really well with the white chocolate. With the crunchy savannah smiles cookies in every powdery bite, it's no wonder these were irresistible!
