STAMFORD, Conn. – Denise Grove, 85, of Stamford, died Jan. 23.
She was born May 16, 1929. She was a social worker in Fairfield County and was active in supporting services for the disabled.
She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin Grove, DVM, and her children, Stephen and Gary.
She is survived by her nephews Kenneth (Janet) Grossman, DVM of Margate, New Jersey; Daniel (Carol) Grossman, DMD, of Cary, North Carolina; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. Interment will follow in Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Erskine Road, Stamford.
