Decision Made on Holding Classes Monday for Darien Schools

Darien Public Schools and surrounding school districts are dismissing students early because of the incoming storm.

All Darien Public Schools students will be dismissed on Monday by 11:30 a.m., with high school and middle school students dismissed at 10:30, Royle, Tokeneke and Hindley elementary school students dismissed at 11 a.m., followed by elementary school students at Holmes and Ox Ridge at 11:30, according to the school district website.

Other public school districts dismissing students early on Monday include Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan, Wilton, Weston and Fairfield, according to WFSB-TV.
