Suspicious Fire in Verplanck Under Investigation
State police ask for the public's help
New York State Police are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred at 2 Lafayette St. in Verplanck just after 3 p.m. yesterday.
Anyone who might have been in the area or has any information regarding this fire is asked to call the New York State Police at (914) 737-7171. All calls will remain confidential.
The fire occurred in a vacant house, according to comments on Kempter’s Fire Wire.
