Preferred Qualifications
· Lead a team of Business Development Consultants across MEA region under the Demand Generation umbrella.
· Own the HC budget of the team along with the strategically plan for allocation.
· Report regularly and directly to the Regional Demand Generation Manager.
· Achieve annual and quarterly basis targets.
· Maintain an awareness of Oracle's current and future products, and understanding the competitive activities across industries.
· Provide marketing inputs to channel marketing Managers within the Demand Generation group.
· Set hard and soft KPIs for BDCs and Conduct appraisal reviews accordingly.
· Maintain high level of performance and delivery against target KPIs.
· Balance in coverage and building qualified pipeline across MEA region.
· Integrate with both inside and Field sales management to set both side expectations, constantly deliver business opportunities, resolve problems to maximize generated revenue.
· Work closely with the rest of the Demand generation sub groups; Channel Marketing management and customer intelligence team, and continue wheeling the cycle.
· Continuously building a team responsible for the following;
- Analyze customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying projects and scoping potential Oracle solutions
- Manage customer calls and web presentations
- Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, future product direction and overall Oracle solutions
- Responsible for building sales pipeline.
- Integrate with both inside and Field sales reps to develop account strategy
- Resolve problems and maximize opportunities
- Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts.
- Manage constantly healthy pipeline in the system against target by creating, qualifying, moving and closing generated leads.
- Handle inbound queries from Oracle Customers over the phone, by e-mail and possibly through Oracle chat.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Builds long term strategic relationships with name and vertical business alliance partners. Manages a professional staff.
Responsible for managing partner relationships and a business development staff. Manage the integration of partners with Oracle sales and marketing. Develop and execute strategic business development plans in one or more of the following areas: partnering strategy, channel development and field level integration. Responsible for assigned key strategic partner accounts. Assist with customer presentations and sales support. Working with partners, define, develop, and execute business development opportunities that will result in substantial market perception and/or revenue for Oracle.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Prior business development experience preferred (in the software industry). Prefer experience to include partner recruitment and/or relationship management. Technical understanding of current IT trends for platform technology. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects.
