Android: Hop in your wayback machine. Google has updated its already-sweet News and Weather widget and released it to the Play Store. Yes, the one that was last seen with the Galaxy Nexus.
The old app/widget was pretty great at providing quick access to collections of news stories by topic, as well as weather forecasts. It didn't see much love for years, but now Google has seen fit to give it some polish and throw it on the Play Store. For advanced users who want to customize their feeds, this probably won't be enough. However, the average person will find it plenty helpful.
