Oh yes, one of Austin’s best dim sum destinations is back in a new address, with the same classics — dumplings, bao, turnip cakes, and much more. It’s fair to expect long waits for weekend brunch services. Weekend dim sum hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. There are indoor dine-in services.

The Greek restaurant in the Highland Park West expanded with weekend brunch in January. Expect Greek daytime dishes like kayanas (tomato-feta-mint scrambled eggs) on bruschetta; fried eggs with potatoes, sausage, and a tomato sauce, and omelets. Brunch hours are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services.

The New York Chinese restaurant import in downtown Austin added dim sum to its weekend services in March. The brunch menu includes lots of dumplings and scallion pancakes, Dim sum is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services.

The Bouldin Creek Mexican by way of the Yucatán added brunch in January. The entirely gluten-free menu includes morningish dishes like the huevos motulenos (sunny-side-up egg with ham, tostadas, and plantains), eggy cheesy chorizo tacos, and masa waffles. Brunch hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in services.

Three of the taco truck’s locations — this one in the Dawson neighborhood within the Colton House Hotel and the others in far south Austin at Lulu’s and MLK-183 brewery Southern Heights Brewing Co. — expanded into brunch hours on the weekends in February. This includes a rotating brunch special, such as chilaquiles or French toast. Brunch hours are from noon to 3 p.m. at Southern Heights and Lulu’s; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Colton.

The farmers market stand opened its first food truck in March, which inherently means brunch bagels for the weekend. The far south Austin truck parked at Lustre Pearl South is slinging bagels, schmears, lox, and even caviar if you feel like being fancy. The truck’s hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Takeout orders can be placed in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas courtesy of the host bar.
