In a Million Dirty Secrets (book 1) we met Delaine Talbot, Laine who to help with her mother’s staggering medical bills offered her virginity and two years to the highest bidder.
Noah Crawford grew up privileged. But his parent’s untimely death left him with the responsibility, at age 22, of taking over their company. He had been fighting to keep control of with his arch enemy doing everything to sabotage.

Noah Patrick Crawford has so many of the qualities I like in a hero. In his POV we are treated to his wit and sarcasm that both endeared and entertained me. A larger-than life hero! Ten words to describe Noah: Captivating, jaded, sexy, witty, flawed, reflective, elusive, bossy, possessive and unforgettable.
Delaine Marie Talbot, Laine initially (in book 1) came across a bit too quirky with her nicknames for private parts. But after a few chapters it worked. Or maybe it was just overshadowed by everything that is Noah. Five words to describe Laine: Loyal, unselfish, smart, feisty and adaptable.
Entertaining plot! Effortless writing! Scorching sex scenes! The perfect ending! But above all an unforgettable hero, Noah Crawford!

The most beautiful love story begin with a bang and end quietly in their own happily ever after. This story is no exception. It might not be life-changing or earth shattering, but it was sexy, entertaining and unapologetically funny.
Noah and Lanie, pull their heads out of their cute butts and revel in their attraction. Real life tries but fails to burst their bubble and their merry band of friends but be impossibly more crazy than they are.
The Cooch (WTH??), schemes in a hospital, climbing down trees, a bastard, sex and sex and them some more sex...
Fifty shades and Bared to you? No, I don't think so.
But this is not a bad thing... AT ALL! This book is more dreamy and more of a standard love story girl meets billionaire. It's refreshing in its hilariousness and naivety. I really liked the first and I enjoyed this one, but even for me sex got to much after a while.
I won't get into much detail, since this book isn't out yet, but DO read the first and give the second book a chance. Everyone needs a fairytale sometimes...

UGH Now I remember why I gave the first book only 3 stars!! And this one is even worse!! The story ran out of steam in the first few chapters! However I kept reading as I am a glutton for punishment!
Then I decided to stop as it wasn't getting any better!
Reading their banter and the constant use of the words 'the Wonder Peen' and 'Double Agent Coochie' was as sexy as this
Though not as funny!
Reading Delaine's thoughts was so painful, I just wanted to rip my hair out!
This wasn't for me but I am sure there are others out there who will enjoy it.

Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.....
I know, I know, I know...
I was a huge defender in this series but this book... it just... well, it kinda stunk.
My four biggest issues:
#1. Tried wayyyy too hard to quirky and funny
So many times the characters were just making bad jokes in times where you actually wanted story, but half-assed humor.
#2. The Cooch
Holy hell... If I had to read "the cooch", "the wonderppen", or something of the like, I will break my Kindle. Shit just got serious. It was soooooooooo annoying! Woman, you are 24! Not 16 discovering your girly parts.
#3. Immaturity. To the Nth degree.
Woman, you are supposed to be 24 years old. Why are you fabricating stories so that your daddy doesn't know you were shakin' up? And why the hell did you still live at home before hand?????? If you weren't in college, what had you been doing in those 6 years since high school? Cut the umbilical cords!
#4. Too much sex.
Shocking, I know. There was more sex than story. Got old reallllly quick. Plus, it's great if you do it 3 times in a row, but you don't need to detail all three times. When I start skipping past scenes, you know something is up!

Per il secondo volume la valutazione scende inesorabilmente. Fin quando ci si manteneva sul tono ironico, da commedia, pur essendoci numerosissime scene osé, non disturbavano più di tanto, ma, quando il tono è cambiato, diventando serioso, il sesso mi è sembrato eccessivo, come se fosse in contrasto con le situazioni raccontate. Con onestà ho saltato a pié pari diverse pagine di amplessi, fra l'altro ripetitivi e noiosi.

What a Beautiful and great ending for this duet!
Here we keep up exactly where the first book left off and see how the relationship between Laine and Noah develops.
We keep getting those super hot/sexy scenes and see how the relationship between them grows deeper.
We also get more interference of the secondary characters which was great!
C.L. Parker keeps up with the sharp writing and you just can't help but love the dialogues that are a mix of sarcastic/ironic/funny without been annoying (which a lot of authors seems to fall to)!
Other thing that I really liked was the addition (to the already amazing double POV between Laine and Noah) of David's POV. It gave this book a little of the feeling of a romantic suspense story with how things developed and the threat of David looming over the characters. Which was for me a fantastic addition once I love the genre.
To close this book we have a BEAUTIFUL epilogue! I can't express how much I loved epilogues! I just think that every books needs one so you, the reader, get the true closure feeling.
TO SUM UP: I LOVED this book! Loved this series! It was great and it had an interesting little change with book 2!
I can't wait to read more from this author!

In this book we are transported back to Noah and Delaine's love story. Were the second book left off on a cliffhanger, this one dives right back in and all the unanswered questions are revealed. Where as the first was Delaine's story this one is Noah's. However ultimately it is both of theirs ...
This is not a book that will have you searching your soul for a deeper meaning, no this is one extremely sexy, laugh out loud, hilariously spectacular fun read.
With her signature style of writing C.L. Parker takes us deeper into the relationship and we get to see it unfold right before our very eyes. Where we find circumstances trying to pull them apart and real life rearing its ugly head.
We are also provided with another POV in this book coming from the insidious business partner of Noah's, David. A man who was the cause of Noah's emotional detachment from woman until Delaine came along. Don't worry folks, C.L. does a good job in serving him up on a platter for us :)
With all of these elements working together plus a whole lot of off the charts sex, this was an amazing ending to the duet.
It might not as long as the previous one but you are not reading War and Peace. It told us everything we needed to know, and I felt it was the perfect amount for this perfect story.
A book with a sexy as sin jaw dropping, unapologetic mogul always ready and willing for sex to a strong willed feisty young woman finding out the pleasures of sex for the first time. This book has all the elements for the outstanding fun sexy read that it is.
I loved every single naughty moment of this book !!

I am not sure what happened here. I was a fan of book one, A Million Dirty Secrets, but for some reason the same combination just didn’t work for me this time. I found it to be very juvenile and honestly irritating. Sigh….
The story picks up right where it left off in book one so the reader has instant gratification. Not much angst as they reconcile immediately. The “story” they give Lane’s father is farfetched and unbelievable as well. It all just felt predictable and safe.
I really like the authors writing style and flow but the story just didn’t hold me like it’s predecessor. I don’t know, I feel sad giving it this low of a rating but…… for me it honestly was disappointing.

A Million Guilty Pleasures

MY THOUGHTS
••• Before you start to read this book you should read the first one - A Million Dirty Secrets - because book #2 starts off right where book #1 ends. •••
Noah just told Lanie to leave - that her mother needs her and that this thing between them would never work anyway. He didn't mean it of course, he just felt guilty for how he treated her. (after he bought her ☺)
...but then I did the unthinkable. I fell in love with her.
Fortunately Delaine doesn't believe him and she wants to confront him in his office - but just as she's about to leave, her best friend Dez shows up and tells her that her mother is back in the hospital, and that it doesn't look good.
Her mother needs a new heart as soon as possible. The surpising news, when Lanie arrives at the hospital is, that they already have a donor and her mom is already being prepped for surgery.
Noah shows up at the hospital and overhears Lanie talking to her sleeping mother. Very sweet and moving moment. ☺ They talk etc... and everything is perfect!
Well, almost.
This could be the happy ever after we were waiting for - but we're only at the very beginning of the book.
There will be lots of obstacles in the way of the new couples' happiness.
One being Noah's former best friend David.
He wants to hurt and ridicule Noah - he already took away Noah's ex girlfriend and now he wants to take away his company and Lanie too!!!
WILL THERE BE A HAPPY END????

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK
The first book ended so grrrrrr - I wanted to read book #2 as soon as possible.
I was really looking forward to it.
And it didn't disappoint.
After the first 6% I was even thinking that it was WAY better than the first book - but then we got to read a few pages from David's POV - and I hated that. Well, hate is not really the right word. It needed to be in the book, because we needed to know what David was thinking and planning and what a complete ass he is. BUT - I don't like it when we read the villains POV in Romance books. In Thrillers it's ok, but in romances I only want to read what my 2 heroes think and do!
But it only happens twice - a few pages in David's POV - so that's totally ok ☺
I loved it that Noah and Lanie got back together in the beginning of the book - there weren't any supid and stubborn idiotic phases to go through!
I loved all the co-stars like Noah's assistent Polly and his cousin Lexie and even Lanie's Dad and yeah I even kind of liked David - the idiot villain of the book. (Not like-like - more like-hate - he's a perfectly hatable bad guy!)
And grrrrr all those sex scenes again!!! *WavesKindleToGetSomeAir*

Some people might say there are too many of those erotic moments in the book - but pffff - it's an erotic Romance - what did you expect!?!? I loved it!

I wasn't a huge, huge fan of book one but it ended in a way that had given me high hopes that this series would grow a little with the second installment. But, this one just wasn't working for me at all... even less than the first one which disappointed me.
The whole "Wonder Peen" and "Double Agent Coochie" thing is just too juvenile for me. Just call it what it is... arrghhhh... I know that it was supposed to be funny. But, I wasn't laughing. So there ya' go!
There was way too much sex and not enough emotional development of the characters. When you're skimming through the sex scenes because you're getting bored that's not a good sign. I need more from erotica than non-stop sex. For me erotica is not worth reading at all if it's not combined with a really, really good story and strong characters.
Immature, juvenile, irritating... that just about sums it up for me....

The smart talking, dominant hottie certainly has met his match both in and out of the bedroom.
We are treated to a story filled with witty banter and super hot sexy stuff between the sheets and just about everywhere and anywhere you can imagine.
The sex is hot! It's not vanilla and most enjoyably is both romantic and erotic. There is some back door action but again, it is tastefully written.

David Stone is a slimy, sleazy, bastard of a bad guy that you love to hate. And to finally get his POV to see just how sleazy he really is was awesome. I couldn't wait for him to receive his just rewards for his black heartedness. (Spell check says this isn't a word, but it fits David's character to a tee).

Reasons why I love me some Guilty Pleasures:
I love the way Parker weaves the romantic fru-fru and the steamy erotic. The proposal was uber romantic and funny at the same time. Noah climbs a tree, desperate to see Lanie after being separated from her for two weeks. The rain, the sex, the romance is perfect.
I love the mother-daughter relationship between Delaine and her mother. It makes me miss my own mother and the conversations we used to have. Parker nailed it with their close bond.
Noah Crawford is a GOD. He is a man who doesn't apologize for his behavior. He likes it dirty and he likes it often. He is possessive, loyal, and funny. He oozes sex and sin and women don't stand a chance if they are are within a five mile radius.
Delaine as a heroine is strong, fierce, and dedicated. Her family means the world to her. And her sexual awakening is poignant. There are no "fictional myths" here, folks. Sex for the first time hurts. Not to mention the other AHEM acts that Noah and Delaine participate in can sometimes be very unpleasant. But the fact that Parker emphasizes the emotions behind it make it all the more real and therefore, has a stronger impact. Well done.

2.5 – Could Have Been So Much Better Stars.
I stuck with this duo of books as I really enjoyed the premise of the first book “A Million Dirty Secrets. The storyline was a little different, virgin selling herself to the highest bidder in order to try and save her ailing mother. A Millionaire with a bruised heart looking for sex without all of the entanglements for a couple of years, as you would expect feelings come into play and Noah in the end gives up Lainie so that she can be with her mother.
We pick up in A Million Guilty Pleasures right where book one left off, and I am not surprised that the main issues I have with it are pretty much the same as the ones I had with book one, I was just hoping that I could get past them enough to enjoy the culmination of Noah and Lainie’s story. Sadly no, all the Coohie, Hoochie, Porntastic and Wonderpeen references as well as the plethora of other cheesy euphemisms for all the sexy stuff just left me cold and bored.
The sex was still hot, but again ruined by the constant juvenile references.
I loved Noah’s POV, and the verbal sparring between the two of them was at points brilliant, and the epilogue was pretty good too. It’s just disappointing I could get past the tacky and immature language used throughout.

The first book was interesting and fun but this one was a letdown. The writing was still great - sassy and sexy as ever - but it was shockingly SHORT! I just don't get it. Did I miss the memo that this was going to be a novella or something?
Thank you NetGalley for my ARC because I would have been totally pissed if I had waited (excitedly) for the release next year only to end up disappointed!
Because I loved the author's writing style, I'm still giving this a decent 3-star rating.

I don't know how many times this series cracked me up...It was so damn funny!
I love the story, just the right amount of everything! There's too much love scenes though and I did skip some of them... Sometimes too much is too much...
This novel is great but...the reason why it's not as satisfying as the first book is because they don't fight anymore, no more drama between them and their relationship was smooth sailing..
The author should have thought of more drama, jealousy, ex lover, etc.

I don't know if I would read this author again. It just didn't quite work for me. A little bit of a guilty pleasure, but nothing I would completely recommend to others to read.
The one redeeming feature is the fact that the sex scenes were HOT.

3´5 estrellas. En general la bilogía esta bien, es entretenida y muy fácil de leer, aunque para mi gusto le sobran algunas escenas de sexo, me parecía que siempre estaba leyendo las mismas situaciones. Un punto a favor, es que la escritora no ha intentado estirar la historia con un 3 libro incecesario.

Well I have to say I enjoyed lanie and noah in book 2 a lot better. I am glad they got back together and that all was good apart from the ass David trying to be an idiot again but he got caught good. The sexy time was O.M.G H.O.T I loved it xxx

Ben ettim siz etmeyin hasta ruhlu bu karakterlerin sinirinizi zıplatmasına izin vermeyin. Daha önce hiç mi erotik roman okumadım? Okudum ama bunda iğrençlik rezillik diz boyu yarım bırakmayacak kadar da salak biriyim bütün sinirlerimi alt üst etti. Tadımı kaçırdı gidip biraz daha küfür edeceğim okumayın bu kitabı.

Foi o que me aconteceu com este, li numa manhã e nem dei pelo tempo passar.Adorei tanto este livro, o primeiro foi melhor(pois é sempre o primeiro) e foi onde começamos a conhecer a história de Lanie e Noah e este é a continuação, mas para mim não ficou atrás.
