New 'Tomorrowland' trailer features George Clooney futurisitic house

The new trailer for Tomorrowland teaches viewers one important lesson: No matter how impressive your home security is, you’re always at risk from a killer humanoid robot attack.

While the trailer for Disney’s latest original film features George Clooney and Britt Robertson, the biggest star might be the house of Clooney’s Frank Walker. As his seemingly rundown home comes under siege by an army of laser gun-toting robots, Walker enacts the house’s many security protocols. Among them are sheets of metal filling every window, hallway laser grids, and a weird handheld portal.

Forced to outrun the attackers, Walker and Robertson’s Casey Newton take the only sensible escape route—Walker’s flying bathtub.

The trailer mainly offers a look at this action sequence, which screened at last year’s New York Comic Con panel on the film, providing a good idea of the film’s mix of old and new imagery.

A new poster was also recently released for the film, touting its IMAX release and offering another glimpse at the titular Tomorrowland Casey Newton is so desperate to find.

Tomorrowland, directed by Brad Bird, opens on May 22.
